During the first term (2017-22), remained Member of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation of Punjab Vidhan Sabha in the year 2017-18 and Member of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions of Punjab Vidhan Sabha in the year 2018-19. During the second term (2022-27), remained Chairperson of the Committee on Questions and References during the year 2022-23, and presently Chief Whip of the Aam Aadmi Party for the 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
