Elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in 2022 from Muktsar Assembly Constituency. Prior to entering politics, Brar worked as an agriculturist. Remained Municipal Councillor for two consecutive terms; President of Manav Bhalai Sanstha; and Chairman of the Committee of Government Girls Senior Secondary School. Remained Member of the Committee on Public Undertakings, and Committee on Questions and References of Punjab Vidhan Sabha during the year 2022-23. Presently, Member of the Committee on Panchayati Raj Institutions and Committee on Agriculture and Allied Activities of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2023-24.
