Positions Held

Elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in the year 2022 from Ludhiana (West) Assembly Constituency. Elected and served people as Municipal Councillor continuously three times from ward number 76 of Ludhiana West for years 2007-2012, 2012-2017 & 2017-2022. Appointed as President of District Congress Committee (Urban) for the period from 2014-2019. Served as Chairman Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC) from 2019-2022. Remained member of Committee on Estimates and Committee on Local Bodies of Punjab Vidhan Sabha during the year 2022-23. Appointed as Chairman, Committee on Local Bodies of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time for the financial year 2022-2023 and again appointed as Chairman, Committee on Local Bodies for the current financial year 2024-2025.
