Was among first five members of Cabinet and inducted as Minister for Freedom Fighters, Defence Services Welfare, Food Processing and Horticulture. Presently member of Committee on Agriculture and Allied Activities, and Committee on Government Assurances of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2023-24.
