Elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in the year 2022 from Ludhiana East Constituency. Remained two times Municipal Councillor of Ludhiana as independent candidate from 2007 to 2017. After joining Aam Aadmi Party, remained Party President of Ludhiana Urban. Also, serving as Numberdaar of village Tarf Saidan.

                Remained Chairman of Committee on Buddha Dariya and Ghaggar and Member of the Committee on Cooperation and Allied Activities and Committee on Questions and References of Punjab Vidhan Sabha during the year 2022-23. Remained member of Committee on Panchayati Raj Institutions and Committee on Cooperation and Allied Activities of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2023-24. Presently, Chairman of Committee on Buddha Dariya and Ghaggar and Member of Cooperation and Allied Activities and Privilege Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2024-25.
