          Elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the first time in the year 2022 from Amritsar (Central) Constituency. Prior to getting elected for Punjab Legislative Assembly, was a Practising Doctor and Managing Director of Sanjeevan Hospital, Amritsar. Remained Chairman, Municipal Town Planning and Member of Board of Trustees NBT of India. Also remained Municipal Councillor, Amritsar from 2002 to 2007. Remained member of Committee on Public Accounts and House Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2022-2023. Presently, member of Committee on Questions and References and Committee on Panchayati Raj Institutions of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2023-24.
