Remained Deputy and State Minister (1995-97) of School Education, Printing and Stationary and Agriculture; Minister of State for Forest, Transport, Social Security and Development of Women and Children; Chairman Punjab Pollution Control Board; General Secretary, DCC; Member PPCC; President Municipal Committee and Chairman Market Committee Qadian; Director Land Mortgage Bank Batala; Chairman of various Committees of Punjab Vidhan Sabha; attended all the conferences of the Party; working whole heartedly for the upliftment of the weaker sections and down trodden people of society; Minister of State for Transport, Social Security and Development of Women and Children. Remained, Cabinet Minister for Rural Development & Panchayats and Housing & Urban Development, Government of Punjab (2017-2022). In the present term, Member of Committee on Government Assurances and Committee on Questions and References of Punjab Vidhan Sabha during 2022-23. Now, Chairman of Committe on Public Accounts of Punjab Vidhan Sabha for the year 2023-24.
